Nigerian actor Kunle Omisore has opened up about the financial realities of his acting career, revealing that the income he currently earns from acting is not enough to cover major personal expenses such as purchasing land, buying a car or even maintaining his wardrobe.
Omisore made the disclosure during an interview on BEHIND THE FAME on where he spoke about the benefits and challenges that have come with his career in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
According to the actor, although acting has not yet provided him with the level of financial reward he desires, the profession has significantly increased his visibility and popularity. He explained that his involvement in the industry has exposed him to a wider audience and allowed more people to recognise and appreciate his work.
Omisore noted that the growing recognition has become one of the major benefits of his acting career. He said the increased exposure has helped him become more popular, making it easier for people to identify him and show interest in his personality and career.
The actor also revealed that his rising public profile has attracted attention from both men and women. He explained that people now approach him to express their admiration, while some women have gone as far as showing interest in having a romantic relationship with him.

Speaking about the situation, Omisore said: “The money I am receiving now is not what I want to use to buy land, a car. It’s not enough to get me clothes. But that money exposes me the more; it makes me become more popular. Men would see me and say, ‘I like you.’ If the women see me, they will say, ‘I like you.’”
