Uchenna Nnanna-Maduka, an award-winning Nollywood filmmaker, shared on WithChude the painful story of losing her immediate elder sister, Olaedo Nnanna, in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash, the same disaster that claimed the life of Pastor Bimbo Odukoya.
She explained that her sister had been travelling from Abuja to Port Harcourt to meet friends who were helping plan her wedding, with a plan to return to Enugu for work the following Monday. The two had spoken shortly before the flight, and her sister had bought her a necklace she still treasures today.
She recalled that on that same day her sister had sent her on an errand to their mother in Onitsha ahead of Christmas, and that the family waited anxiously for news of her safe arrival that never came.
