Speaking during an interview on Biola Adebayo Ent, Yoruba movie actor Adewale Alebiosu spoke about his religious background, explaining that he was raised in a Muslim family and grew up with both parents practising the religion while reflecting on how his personal journey later changed with time.
Alebiosu revealed that his father is an Alhaji while his mother is an Alhaja, adding that he also practised Islam while growing up and acknowledged that his journey has developed differently from the religious background he experienced within his family.
The actor noted that he believes God understands the reasons behind the different paths people take in life, explaining that although he was raised as a Muslim and followed the religion at the time, his experiences eventually shaped the direction of his personal journey.
In Alebiosu’s words: “My parents are Muslims. My father is Alhaji, and my mother is Alhaja, but God knows how He does things. I was a Muslim then.”
