According to Chude TV on Saturday, August 1, 2026, media personality Uchena Nnanna Maduka has shared an emotional account of how personal loss and her mother’s health challenges shaped her life, revealing that she struggled with a fear of flying for years after the death of her sister.

Speaking during an interview on Chude TV, Maduka said the loss of her sister left her traumatised and unable to travel by air for a long period. She also recalled her mother’s battle with diabetes and arthritis, describing what she believed was a miraculous moment during a life-threatening experience.

“I have a phobia for flying. It took me years before I started flying again after I lost my sister. My mother had diabetes and arthritis. My last words were, ‘Mother, mama, I am out. Take care of me.’ And she did. Yes, she did. It’s a miracle.”
