Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has revealed how an unexpected medical emergency involving actress BamBam interrupted the production of Love in Every Word, forcing the filmmaking team to suspend shooting for approximately three weeks.
Arukwe disclosed this during an interview on CreativiTea with Linda on Thursday, October 29, 2026, while reflecting on the challenges the cast and crew encountered while working on the romantic drama.
The actor explained that he was initially contracted to work on the movie for just three days. However, the large number of scenes scheduled for production made the assignment more demanding than he had anticipated.
According to Arukwe, the film contained approximately 100 scenes, but the production team had managed to complete only about 20 by the third day. The situation took an unexpected turn when BamBam, who played the female lead, suddenly fainted while filming was in progress.
Following the incident, the actress was rushed to the hospital for medical attention, forcing the production team to suspend filming until she recovered. The break reportedly lasted about three weeks before work on the movie resumed.
Recounting the experience, Arukwe said, “On the third day of shooting Love in Every Word, BamBam fainted. We had to go on a break for about three weeks.”
His revelation highlights some of the unforeseen challenges that can affect film production, particularly when unexpected health emergencies involving major cast members disrupt carefully planned shooting schedules.
Despite the interruption, Love in Every Word went on to receive considerable attention from movie audiences, further boosting Arukwe’s profile in Nigeria’s entertainment industry. The film became an important milestone in his career, exposing his performance to a broader audience and strengthening his recognition among Nollywood fans.
