Popular Nollywood actress Shan George has revealed some of the things that happened between her and her ex-husband that led to their break up, while also stating why she was not scared of getting married to different men in order to pursue her dream of going to school.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of With Chude on Saturday, during an interview, she explained that if she has to marry ten men and have twenty children with five hundred surnames, she does not mind, saying that she only wanted to go to school at all costs.
According to Shan George, she said, “I wrote the JAMB exam, but I didn’t make it, so I decided to go for a diploma at Lagos State University. When I got admission into the university, my mom wasn’t talking to me anymore, and I was on my own because she didn’t support me divorcing my husband because he didn’t allow me to go to school. I was focused on my education, but some people were saying that I wanted to follow men, and they said I would become a prostitute if I wasn’t married. My mom refused to marry another man after my dad’s death because she doesn’t want to have children that will have different surnames, but that’s her own decision and not mine. If I have to marry 10 men and have 20 children with 500 surnames, I don’t care.
