Veteran Nollywood actress Mistura Asunmo, also known as Iya 2D, has revealed why she told her husband to marry a second wife, while also stating how she used to stay at movie locations for months before coming back home.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV on Friday, during an interview, she made it known that she told her husband to marry a second wife so that she can enjoy the freedom to sleep at movie locations and concentrate on her film making career.
According to Iya 2D, she said, “When I got married to my husband, I already told him that I have a passion for film making and he told me that he won’t stop me from doing it. When I became famous, I started spending more than two months at movie locations without going home. My husband started getting angry, but I pleaded with him to allow me to fulfill my dream as an actress. When I started film making, we used to spend a minimum of one month on a movie set, but my husband wasn’t happy with me because he thought we wouldn’t spend more than a day at movie locations. I told my husband to marry a second wife so that I can enjoy my freedom as an actress.
