Veteran Nigerian singer and highlife star Sunny Neji has spoken about the close relationship he had with his mother and how her early death affected him.
In a recent interview on BEHIND THE FAME, Neji said he spent a lot of time with his mother as the last-born child, and that being the youngest did not spare him from discipline. He also recalled frequent fights with his immediate elder brother, who has since passed away.
Neji explained that although his mother did not live to see him become an adult, the time they shared left lasting memories that shaped his life and music.
