Lizzy Jay, a Nollywood actress, has stated that a man hacked her Snapchat account and got access to a private video of her unclad body. She said she had recorded the video while she was sick to send to her doctor
In an interview on the With Chude show, Jay said the man sent her a message that he had her nûde video. She stated that she initially did not take him seriously and even showed her friends the message, believing he was only bluffing.
Jay said the man sent her an email and attached a screenshot from the video, showing part of her unclad body, to prove that he truly had access to it. She said the man asked her whether he should post the video on social media or if she was willing to pay him to stop but she dared him to post it.
Jay said the man eventually posted a part of the video on Instagram and later deleted it. She stated that after seeing she was calm and unbothered, the man stopped contacting her.
