The Judgements That Were Delivered, Was A Trap Set For ADC To Which Most Of Us Here Belong -Galadima

According to a report by Daily Post, on Saturday May 2, 2026, In a scathing assessment of Nigeria’s shifting political landscape, elder statesman Alhaji Buba Galadima has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is being systematically orchestrated toward a situation where it will be unable to field candidates for the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement summit in Abuja on Saturday, May 2, 2026, the former chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the APC alleged that a calculated arrangement involving judicial and political maneuvers is currently unfolding to stifle competition against President Bola Tinubu.

Galadima, who has long been a vocal critic of the current administration’s impact on opposition structures, asserted that the ADC is being targeted through a series of litigations intended to frustrate its electoral viability. He claimed these developments are the realization of warnings he issued over a year ago.

“I said this since one and a half years ago in the press that Tinubu will try to stifle the political parties, that Tinubu wants to run as a sole candidate in Nigeria, and today, it is happening,” Galadima stated.

He linked this alleged strategy to specific judicial outcomes delivered earlier in the week, characterizing the rulings on Wednesday and Thursday as a targeted strike against the party.

“The judgements that were delivered on Wednesday and Thursday, to any clever man, was a trap set for ADC to which most of us here belong,” he said.

The summit, which brought together supporters of former presidential candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, served as a backdrop for Galadima’s revelation that prominent political figures are already seeking a way out of the current impasse…..See More
