Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after Nemadi Usman, a Chieftain of the Labour Party (LP) made a striking comment regarding the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the former governor cannot make a return to Labour Party.
Nemadi Usman, a Chieftain of the Labour Party recently caused a stir after she disclosed that 2023 presidential candidate and former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi cannot return to the party.
According to the LP Chieftain, the party register will be closed twenty one days prior to the primary elections and submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, hence, preventing new entry.
Her statements, which came amid the controversies that trailed the recent crisis rocking the African Democratic Congress, ADC however, triggered massive public attention.
