The Nigerian Army recently reacted to the death of two bandits and recovery of several deadly weapons in Kaduna State. According to their statements which were shared by VANGUARD, the pointed out that the operation was successful through a well coordinated ambush.
The news regarding the neutralization of several bandits and recovery of deadly weapons by the Nigerian Army in Kaduna State generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
In a twist of events, bandits who operated unchallenged for several weeks came under a surprise attack as troops of the Nigerian Army laid an ambush, annihilated two while others fled to safety.
According to the statements from a military source whose identities were withheld in the statements which were made available to the general public by VANGUARD, the mode of operation was disclosed.
In his statements, he pointed out that soldiers sprang an ambush, a mode of operation commonly used by the bandits to terrorize the people of Kaduna State.
During the exchange of gun fire, according to the military source, two bandits were taken out while others fled. Several weapons were also recovered during the operation.
Deadly weapons recovered during the operation were assorted assault rifles, cutlasses and a jack knife.
