‘You Can’t Build Your State, Your People, So What Are You Going To Do As President? -Yul Tackles PO

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, son of veteran actor Pete Edochie, has questioned former presidential candidate Peter Obi’s capacity to lead Nigeria, saying Obi failed to build Anambra State and its people while he was governor.

Writing on his X handle, Edochie said: “Peter Obi built nothing in Anambra when he was governor.”

He claimed that Peter Obi has zero physical legacy. “I want to frame him as a failure from the start. ‘Built nothing’ is emotional and viral. It kills the idea that he’s a competent administrator before any facts come in.”

He continued: “No schools built by him, no factories, no companies, no malls, no major projects, nothing.” “People judge governors by buildings and jobs. If I say he didn’t build schools or factories, I make him look useless. ‘Malls’ is deliberate; it signals a modern economy and jobs for youth. ‘Nothing’ repeated twice, total failure.”

He went on to tackle him again by saying, “He didn’t even build his own people; he never invested in anybody.” “In Nigerian politics, ‘building people’ means making others rich, appointing them, and empowering them. I’m saying Obi is selfish or stingy. He has no loyal political sons. That makes him weak.”

He challenged Obi supporters to name one beneficiary: “No Anambra man can tell you he’s successful today because of Peter Obi.”

“If you can’t point to one rich Anambra businessman who says ‘Obi made me’, then what’s his impact? I’m daring him to base. If they stay silent, I win.”

He disqualifies Obi from the presidency based on his Anambra record: “You can’t build your state, you can’t build your people, so what are you going to do as president?”……See More
