According to a recent video by Kaa Truth, Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Ugezu J Ugezu, has opened up on the dramatic political switch of actor Kenneth Okonkwo, who has gone from being a fierce defender of Peter Obi to one of his most vicious attackers. In a recent interview, Ugezu expressed bewilderment at the development, stating simply, “I cannot say what is wrong with him.”
Ugezu noted that Okonkwo’s current outbursts against Obi have surpassed even those of Reno Omokri, leaving many Nigerians confused. When pressed on the broader national crisis, Ugezu identified leadership as the fundamental problem of Nigeria, arguing that individuals remain stronger than institutions.
He dismissed the efficacy of mere wishes and ritualistic “Happy New Month” prayers, insisting that hard work and structural action, not spiritual incantations, drive true success.
Ugezu also lamented Nigeria’s superficial religiousity, stating that the nation’s high level of corruption exposes the shallowness of its faith. He advocated for mutual respect among all religious beliefs and described himself as an African traditionalist.
