Laide Bakare is a Nollywood actress who revealed how she struggled to find accommodation after her second marriage ended badly. She had to sleep in her office because she had nowhere else to go.
In her interview on Mr LilGaGa’s show, Bakare explained that after being thrown out by her husband, she could not return to her parents’ house because it would seem like she had messed up her life. She also could not afford a proper residence immediately.
She managed to rent a three-bedroom flat but the landlord said it was for office use only. So she set up her office there and secretly used it as her sleeping place while trying to rebuild her life and career.
