Hon. Chinedu Obika, representing the AMAC and Bwari Federal Constituency in Abuja, has stated that the present administration has a strong understanding of the National Assembly because of the legislative experience of several key officials.
Speaking in an interview with KAATRUTH on Thursday, July 23, 2026, Obika noted that President Bola Tinubu previously served as a senator, while the First Lady also had experience as a senator.
He said that the Chief of Staff was a former Speaker, while the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Vice President also previously served in the Senate.
According to Obika, having several top government officials with experience in the legislature gives the administration a better understanding of the National Assembly and its operations.
