Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has stated that the death of the mother of his children was one of the most painful experiences of his life.
According to a report by The Cable on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Anuku said they had planned to get married before she died unexpectedly. He stated that they were always together and he never imagined she would die so soon.
Anuku said her death made him withdraw from people and live in isolation as he struggled to cope with the loss. He stated that he later encountered God, who brought him healing, deliverance and comfort. He thanked God for helping him recover from the trauma and transform his life.
