A senior figure in the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), Nnamdi Iroegbu, has linked the recent crash of the party’s registration server to a surge in public engagement following notable political developments.
During an interview on Trust TV, Iroegbu stated that the system failure occurred shortly after reports emerged that prominent politicians, including Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, had moved closer to the coalition.
He explained that the influx of interested supporters attempting to register may have overwhelmed the party’s digital infrastructure.
Iroegbu noted that party leadership had confirmed the disruption occurred a few days prior, suggesting that the unexpected volume of traffic was the primary cause.
He described the development as a reflection of a growing appetite among Nigerians for political alternatives, particularly amid dissatisfaction with prevailing national conditions.
According to him, the increase in registrations signals a shift in public sentiment, as citizens search for solutions to persistent challenges such as economic hardship and insecurity.
He argued that many Nigerians are increasingly frustrated by what they perceive as a lack of direction in governance, adding that the country’s vast potential remains underutilized.
He further emphasized that the level of interest generated in recent days indicates a broader desire for meaningful change.
Iroegbu maintained that the response underscores a collective yearning for improved leadership and a more stable national outlook, as citizens continue to engage more actively in shaping the country’s political future……See More
