Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, former special adviser on political matters to President Bola Tinubu, has weighed in on the plans to unseat the ruling government in the forthcoming presidential election.
Recently, several political leaders, including former governors like Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, amongst others, have decamped from one party to the other in a search for greener pastures ahead of the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.
However, in the video, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, former Special Adviser on Political Matters to President Bola Tinubu, stated that the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has decided to select a southerner as its presidential candidate, but nevertheless, every decision made in the party will be driven by public opinion and not the law.
He also mentioned that the current president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not only behaving like a southerner but also as a southwesterners, and this is the real danger.
