Veteran Nollywood actress Omotunde Apinke Ogundimu has recounted how she received financial support from individuals when she was unable to afford surgery after being diagnosed with fibroids.
In an interview with TALK TO B on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Ogundimu explained that she became a widow in 2012 and has since been focused on raising her three children and providing them with a better life despite the challenges she faced.
The actress revealed that in 2014, she was diagnosed with fibroids and needed surgery but could not afford the cost of the procedure. She said the situation was difficult at the time until some people came to her aid and provided the financial assistance required for her treatment.
Ogundimu explained that the support she received enabled her to undergo the surgery successfully.
