Factional PDP Publicity Secretary Ini Ememobong has said the resurgence of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s name and the PDP’s readiness to challenge the APC government that the FCT minister Nyesom Wike serves are giving him sleepless nights.
Speaking on Arise News, Ememobong made this assertion while rejecting Wike’s warning and threat to revoke land titles of any venue in Abuja that gives access to the PDP for its planned convention.

Ememobong said the party has notified INEC and security agencies and will proceed with the meeting. He warned that if Wike intends to suppress dissent violently, he should face the leaders of the party, including former governors and ministers, who will be in attendance.
He called on President Tinubu to clarify who is in charge of the country, saying Nigeria does not belong to one person and that the minister’s actions threaten democratic norms.
In his words, “So I think that the real PDP, the name Jonathan, and the fact that you have people who are ready to send the APC government, which he’s serving, home, actually give him a lot of sleepless nights.”
“So you remember that Dumebi Kachikwu (a faction of the ADC) used the same place, the names of his people were not on the INEC platform, and he (Wike) said nothing about it, maybe because that may suit his purpose.”
“Also remember that the SDP convention that was held, the people who held that convention, their names were not on the portal, but they held the convention, and he had no qualms about it. But he has qualms about people, real people who are the real PDP……See More
