During an exclusive interview with Channels Television on Wednesday, May 27, 2027, Abdul-Ganiyy Raji, National Da’Wah, NASFAT Worldwide, has given his take on the rising level of insecurity in Nigeria.
In recent times, the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has called on Nigerians across the country to pray for bandits and terrorists, expressing optimism that they will change from their evil ways and abandon violence.
However, speaking with Channels Television, Abdul-Ganiyy Raji, National Da’Wah, NASFAT Worldwide, disconnected the dots connecting insurgents with the Muslim religion.
He mentioned that insurgency is not peculiar to the Islamic religion, and terrorists should not be addressed based on the religious beliefs, recalling an incident that occurred in California, San Diego, where two Christian men went into a mosque and shot three people dead.
