Popular minister and former club promoter, Apostle Belema Billy, has opened up about the severe emotional trauma she endured after unknowingly marrying a man who suffered from bipolar disorder.
She revealed that she was completely blinded by his handsome appearance, jumping into marriage within just two weeks of meeting him, only to discover his severe mental health condition when she was pregnant.
According to the apostle, while the public constantly envied them as the cutest couple in town, she was secretly suffering horrific abuse behind closed doors as his caretaker.
Apostle Belema Billy said: “I married a man that I did not know had a mental illness. I was looking for a man that looked like Will Smith. The guy came to me and in two weeks, he was proposing. I called soft. Sometimes he would wake up and curse me out. When I was seven months pregnant, he looked me in the eyes and said he would destroy me.”……..See More
