Nigerian entrepreneur and reality television star Dabota Lawson has revealed that she still maintains a close relationship with her former husband despite their divorce. She shared this during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on the talk show With Chude.
During the conversation, the former beauty queen explained that even though their marriage ended, they still communicate regularly and support each other.
According to her, one moment that showed their continued friendship happened on her birthday. She said her ex-husband surprised her by bringing a cake to her office to celebrate with her. Lawson noted that their relationship today is based on mutual respect and understanding.
She also revealed that her former husband supported her during her time on the reality television series The Real Housewives of Lagos. According to her, he sometimes shared insights about the show and encouraged her while she was filming.
Speaking about her past marriage, she said she was not fully prepared for marriage at the time. She explained that the separation was not due to abuse but because of outside influences and personal differences.
