Nigerian actor and producer, Titi Kuti, has opened up about why he may never completely shave off his hair, despite questions about the possibility of removing his dreadlocks.
Speaking during an interview with YANGA FM, on Thursday May 14, 2026, Kuti explained that cutting his hair too low usually causes him severe headaches, which is why he prefers keeping some level of hair on his head.
According to Kuti, although he is not someone who frequently falls ill, he has noticed over time that very low haircuts often leave him uncomfortable. He stated that even if he eventually decides to cut off his dreadlocks, he would still maintain short rough curls or an Afro hairstyle instead of going completely bald.
His words, “I’m not usually sick, but if my hair is too low, I usually have headaches. Even if I barb it, I could leave it at maybe short rough curls or maybe an Afro. I carried an Afro one time like that.”…….See More
