Veteran Nollywood actor, Victor Osuagwu, has spoken about how people enjoyed entertainment in the old days.
Speaking in an interview with YANGA FM, on Thursday May 14 2026, Osuagwu said pointed out that he used to peep through windows to watch A Movie name, The Masquerade and the popular TV programme, Village Headmaster, because they were very interesting.
According to him, the sound from the programmes alone could attract people from different places. He explained that even families who owned televisions still preferred gathering with neighbours and friends to watch together because the atmosphere was more enjoyable, lively, and exciting, making entertainment feel special and bringing people closer as a community.
He said,
“I peeped from the window to watch the masquerade. I peeped from the window to watch Village Headmaster. These are the two unique programmes that, anywhere you hear the sound, it will even attract you. Even if there is a television in your house, you wouldn’t love to go to your house because you won’t enjoy it well.”…….See More
