Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a veteran Nollywood actress and producer, has stated that she considers herself a Hausa girl because she grew up in Kaduna in the northern part of Nigeria.
In an interview with Yanga FM Nigeria, Omotola stated that her mother is from Ogun State and her father is from Ondo State. Omotola disclosed that her husband is half Igbo and half Edo.
Omotola also stated that she sees herself as a true Nigerian because of her background, upbringing, and family connections across different parts of the country
