He Could’ve Collected At Least 10M For 5Mins -Ere Asalatu Reveals Why He Looks Up To Yinka Ayefele

Alhaji Abdul Kabir Bukola Alayande, widely known as, Ere Asalatu, a popular Nigerian Islamic singer, has explained why he looks up to gospel star Yinka Ayefele as a true example in the industry.

Speaking in an interview on BEHIND THE FAME, Ere said Ayefele showed him rare kindness when he agreed to feature in his song without asking for money. He noted that in the music industry, it is normal for artists to charge huge amounts when they are invited to perform on someone’s album. According to him, Ayefele could have easily asked for at least 10 million naira for just five minutes, since the work was meant for promotion and business.

Ere Asalatu revealed that Ayefele not only sang for about 30 minutes but also offered his studio free of charge, a gesture he described as rare in the industry.

His words,

“Yinka Ayefele did not collect any money from me. I told him I wanted to feature him in my song, and he asked me to inform him when I was ready. Normally, if you feature someone in an album, the person will charge a fee. He could have collected at least 10 million for five minutes, especially since the work would be used for promotion and business. He sang for about 30 minutes and even told me to use his studio free of charge.”…….See More
