Usman Yusuf, former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s performance within three years in office could make him the easiest president to unseat.
Speaking in an interview on TRUST TV, Yusuf questioned the state of the economy under the current administration, saying many Nigerians are worse off than before Tinubu assumed office. He cited rising costs of fuel, gas, rice, and school fees, as well as concerns about corruption, nepotism, and tribalism in governance.
Yusuf said,
“With President Bola Tinubu’s three-year record, he will be the easiest president to dislodge out of the villa. Is your life better today than it was when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu came? Maybe yours is. Mine isn’t. How much was the price of gas, petrol when he came? How much was a bag of rice? How much was school fees? How rampant was corruption?
