A Pastor Prophesied I Would Die So I Posted I’ve Been Shot And They Sent Me To Prison For 7 Days

Dancehall icon Shatta Wale shared on the Honest Bunch Podcast how a pastor foretold that he would be killed, which prompted him to fake his own shooting on social media. This act, however, resulted in him and a few friends spending a week in a prison in Ghana.

He mentioned that the prophecy, which spread quickly, made him anxious and upset because he felt that the Ghanaian government was ignoring threats to regular people while focusing on safeguarding public officials. To alert the leaders, he posted a false message about being shot, but instead, he got arrested and charged with causing public disturbance, while the pastor who made the prophecy went unpunished.

He described his time in prison as a nightmare, saying that even one day felt like an entire month.

Shatta Wale stated: “A pastor said I was going to die. I posted that I had been shot, and it caused chaos across the country. Later, the police came for us, took us to court, accused us of disturbing public peace, and locked us up in a Ghanaian prison for seven days. One day in jail feels like a month. And they didn’t even take action against the pastor.”
