According to a recent video by Talk to B on Friday, July 17, 2026, nollywood actress Bose Aregbesola has addressed why many people mistakenly assume she is married to fellow filmmaker Segun Ogungbe, while also revealing the malicious lies that nearly destroyed her marriage.
The actress explained that the confusion stems from the fact that she was always cast as the lead role in most of Segun Ogungbe’s movies, which made fans believe there was a romantic relationship between them off-screen. She clarified that it was purely a professional partnership and nothing more.
However, the controversy took a dangerous turn when jealous individuals began weaponising this assumption against her. Bose disclosed that someone lied to her husband and tried to scatter their marriage by feeding him false information.
She recounted how they attended a party together and someone maliciously told her husband that she had dated another man before their union, which sparked his anger. In a more troubling episode, a rumour was spread claiming she was seen in a hotel with another man.
Her husband called to confront her, but she calmly explained that she was actually at a movie location, and he believed her. Despite this, Bose lamented that people are envious and desperate to destroy her home over baseless accusations.
