Salawa Abeni, a veteran musician, has stated that she got paralyzed shortly after her first son died.
Speaking in an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Abeni said she was taken to different places in search of treatment. She stated that her family members bathed her and dressed her because she could not care for herself.
Abeni added that whenever her family members cried because of her condition, she encouraged them by saying she would recover. She said God eventually healed her after 5 years of being paralyzed.
In Abeni’s words: “I lost my child, he was my first son but not first born. When he died I faced so much troubles such that I became paralyzed for five years. I was taken from one place to the other for solutions. Whenever my family members broke down in tears because of me, I would assure them that I was not born that way and I will be well again.
