Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission has taken to his official X handle to react after Desmond Elliot, a member of the house of assembly complained over the withdrawal of his security detail.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the public should not be dragged into what he believed was an internal conflict.
Desmond Elliot, the house of assembly member representing Surulere constituency, it can be recalled, had been involved in an intense confrontation with Femi Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff to President Tinubu.
However, Chidi Odinkalu, widely known for his outspokenness, pointed out that they should settle their cases within themselves and desist from causing public nuisance.
