Nana Usman has stated that she was not informed when her husband, Lt. Col. Sadiq Mohammed, was arrested along with other military officers over an alleged coup plot
In a video shared by Punch, Nana said her husband, Mohammed, was posted to Maiduguri where he was leading the fight against Boko Haram. She said she became very worried when her husband’s phone was suddenly switched off and she couldn’t reach him
Nana said the situation caused her serious distress and she was even hospitalized. She said she later saw reports on social media that her husband and other officers were arrested other an alleged coup plot.
In Nana’s words: “I was hospitalized because of this because being he was in Maiduguri fighting Boko Haram and all of a sudden his phone got switched off. So I was worried and bothered, not until we saw it on social media that some officers were arrested about the alleged coup plot, so that was when I got to know”…….See More
