Social media users have taken to their official X account to react after it was announced that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has publicly displayed the academic records of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC made the announcement on its official X account on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
According to report, the commission published the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu obtained from Chicago State University.
This came ahead of the upcoming presidential election in 2027.
In the post that INEC shared on it official X account, it stated that it has commenced the public display of the personal particulars of candidates that have been nominated.
The commission stated that the exercise is aimed at promoting transparency and providing members of the public with the opportunity to scrutinize the credentials that the candidates have submitted.
