In this interview with FeelrightNews TV correspondent, a popular Nollywood actor, Izihap Adekunle Sanusi, also known as “Apa,” revealed how he became an actor.
While speaking during the interview, he stated that he was born in Iseyin, Oyo State, and that his search for greener pastures, as well as his interest in becoming an actor, led him to relocate to Lagos State.
He explained that when he first arrived in Lagos, he initially lived with his stepmother before securing a job at a bakery, where he was paid daily wages.
Narrating some of the challenges he faced while working at the bakery, he said, “I faced a lot of difficulties while working at the bakery. For instance, when I was given the nickname ‘Apa’ (which means ‘hand’), I was not pleased with it. People who are Muslims know that the nickname is not good.
“So, when people older than me started calling me by that name and I refused to respond, I was severely slapped for ignoring them. I eventually began to accept the name when I realized there was nothing I could do about it. It was God’s will that everything turned out that way.”…..See More
