Veteran Nollywood actress Omotunde Apinke Ogundimu has opened up about her ongoing health challenges years after undergoing a successful fibroid surgery.
In an interview with TALK TO B on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Ogundimu said she was diagnosed with fibroid in 2014 and could not afford the cost of surgery at the time. She explained that people supported her financially, which enabled her to undergo the operation successfully.
The actress revealed that eight years after the surgery, she started experiencing bleeding again and has been dealing with severe pain. She said the health challenge has been difficult and has affected her well-being.
Ogundimu said she has received support from people around her, including her children, who have been using their income to help with her medical expenses. She added that she decided to seek more assistance because she wants to recover and overcome the condition.
