A widow identified as Madam GoodNews has accused her late husband’s brother, Mr. Felix, of hijacking all her husband’s property, selling some and taking over others. She explained that her husband was sick with stroke and the stroke affected his brain, and when she traveled to Benue for her mother’s burial, her husband’s brother came and entered their house and collected all their documents and properties.
The widow stated that the brother collected all the documents, their plasma television, gas, and everything from the house, and then the third day he brought her husband back to Benue. She noted that when she came back from her husband’s place to inform them that she lost her mother, her sister told her that her husband’s brother brought her husband back from Port Harcourt, and he did not tell her even though her husband’s treatment was still ongoing at the hospital.
The widow said: “My husband was sick, stroke and the stroke affected his brain. Then at that process my mother joined the ancestors. So my husband asked me to travel to the village. Then I travel to our place Benue. So my husband brother now came enter inside our house collected all our document properties. My husband brother, he enter when I was not around. When I traveled to Benue for my mother’s burial. Then he collected all the documents. Then our plasma and gas everything from the house. And then the third day he brought my husband back to Benue.
