Reactions Trail Announcement That ADC Presidential Nomination Form Will Cost The Sum Of N100 Million

Reactions have continued to pour in on social media following the announcement that the presidential nomination form of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has been fixed at ₦100 million.

The disclosure was made by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, through a post shared on his official X account on May 3, 2026.

The announcement came shortly after the ADC leadership unveiled the timetable for its 2026 primary elections.

Details contained in the schedule revealed that governorship aspirants will pay ₦50 million for nomination forms, while Senate hopefuls are expected to purchase theirs for ₦20 million.

In the same statement, Abdullahi explained that the party had introduced special discounts aimed at encouraging greater inclusion in the electoral process.

According to him:

“To encourage wider participation, we have introduced concessional rates, offering a 50 percent discount for youths and a 25 percent discount for women and persons with disabilities.”
