Temitope Ajayi, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Publicity has replied those comparing the abduction of Bayo Adelabu’s family members with that of the children in Oyo state.
The reaction of Temitope Ajayi was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
This is coming after it was announced that the police have rescued the family members of Bayo Adelabu who were kidnapped in Ibadan.
the post that Temitope Ajayi shared on his official X handle, he said it is wrong to compare the kidnapping of Bayo Adelabu’s family members with that of the children and teachers who were kidnapped in the Oriire Local Govenment Area of Oyo.
He said those who kidnapped teachers and children in Oyo state are terrorists who operate in deep forest.
Here is what Temitope Ajayi wrote on his official X handle;
“The two set of criminals have different motivations and agenda. The Ogbomoso children and their teachers will be rescued and security agencies are not selective as falsely claimed. The approach to the two incidents can’t be the same”.
