In a recent video on YouTube, Nigerian cleric Enoch Adeboye has drawn attention for its message on purpose, loyalty, and long-term destiny decisions, centered on the story of a gifted young musician who turned down a lucrative offer to remain within his spiritual calling.
In the account, the cleric described a talented saxophonist who had already begun gaining recognition for his musical ability within church circles. According to him, the young man’s skill attracted external attention, including an offer from a wealthy congregation willing to pay a substantial monthly salary for his services.
“He was offered a very attractive monthly package,” Adeboye said, explaining that the opportunity came with financial security and broader exposure outside his current spiritual environment.
However, the musician reportedly declined the offer. His decision, according to the cleric, was rooted not in financial calculation but in loyalty and spiritual alignment. He believed his assignment was tied to his current spiritual leadership and community.

The cleric explained that the decision was later vindicated as circumstances surrounding the offering church reportedly changed, reducing the stability of what had initially appeared to be a promising opportunity. Meanwhile, the saxophonist’s ministry continued to grow beyond expectations.
