Popular Nollywood actress Eniola Iyiola, also known as Basira Badia, has revealed how some of her colleagues in the movie industry used spiritual means to stop her voice on a movie set, while also stating how singer Saheed Osupa and actor Murphy Afolabi revived her voice with herbal medicine.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Talk2dunnis TV on Sunday, during an interview, she disclosed that singer Saheed Osupa and actor Murphy Afolabi took her inside a room, and they gave her a herb to drink in order to revive her lost voice on a movie set.
According to Basira Badia, she said, “I was on a movie set where I was given a movie role, and only Saheed Osupa can bear me witness because Murphy Afolabi is dead now. When I wanted to start reading the movie script, I couldn’t talk because I lost my voice. Some actors later told me that there were many actors who wanted the movie role, and they decided to take my voice because I was given the movie role. A lot of people were there on the movie set waiting to see how I would perform the movie role that was given to me, but I couldn’t talk.
