I Don’t Want Anyone To Put The Southeast On Table; We Are Getting What We Are Supposed To Get -Kalu

In a recent video shared by Viable TV, former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, addressed growing political conversations around regional equity and national leadership.

Speaking during the interview, Kalu cautioned against what he described as unnecessary political narratives that attempt to portray the Southeast as marginalized in current national arrangements. He emphasized that such discussions often create tension rather than promote unity among Nigerians.

“I don’t want anyone to put the Southeast on the table; we are getting what we are supposed to get,” he stated, reinforcing his position that the region is not being sidelined.

Kalu highlighted that successive administrations have made contributions to different parts of the country, noting that governance should be viewed as a continuous effort rather than a competition among regions. According to him, every administration brings its own impact, and citizens should focus on national development instead of divisive rhetoric.
