After DNA Tests Showed Both Children Weren’t Mine, I Did A Sperm Test To Check Myself -Peter Ngumba

Kenyan laboratory technologist, Dr. Peter Ngumba, has shared another emotional detail from his personal experience with paternity testing, revealing the step he took after discovering that two children he believed were his were not biologically related to him.

Speaking on the BBC Focus on Africa Podcast, Ngumba said, “After DNA tests showed both children weren’t mine, I did a sperm test to check myself.”

According to him, the decision came immediately after receiving the second DNA result, which also excluded him as the biological father of his younger child. Faced with two shocking outcomes from different relationships, he said he began to question his own fertility.

Ngumba explained that he went for a sperm analysis test the very next day to determine whether he might be infertile. However, the result reportedly confirmed that he was fully fertile.

He said the medical confirmation helped him rule out any biological issue on his part and shaped his understanding of the situation.
