Security expert Dr. Yahuza Getso has alleged that notorious bandit leader Mohammed Kachalla was responsible for the abduction of retired General Rabe Abubakar, claiming the armed gang leader continues to operate openly in Katsina State.
Speaking during an interview with Trust TV, Getso said the development came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly sent a letter to President Bola Tinubu commending his administration’s efforts in tackling terrorism.
According to Getso, within 24 hours of the reported letter, Kachalla publicly appeared with a cache of sophisticated weapons and ammunition while issuing threats against the Nigerian state.
The security expert further claimed that Kachalla is not hiding in an undisclosed location but resides in Matazu Local Government Area of Katsina State.
In his words, “Between the time when President Donald Trump submitted that letter and 24 hours later, Mohammed Kachalla, the person who abducted General Rabe Abubakar, presented himself with a lot of heavy sophisticated arms and ammunition, threatening the Nigerian State. Mohammed Kachalla is not living anywhere but in Matazu LGA.”
