Yoruba Nollywood actor, Oluwaseyi Oluwole, has opened up about what he described as one of the most painful moments of his career, recounting how internal conflicts within an association he once served allegedly led to a public scandal.
The actor made the revelation during an interview with FeelRightNews TV, where he reflected on challenges he faced in 2023.
According to him, individuals within the association he had dedicated himself to turned against him in what he believes was a calculated attempt to tarnish his image.
Oluwole claimed that the situation escalated when a woman he had previously been involved with was brought forward during a meeting, alongside law enforcement officers. The development, he said, left him shocked and embarrassed.
In his words: “In 2023, people rose against me in the association I served wholeheartedly. They set me up with women. I’m this type of a person that whenever I want to engage in extramarital affairs, I’ll do it far away from home. My wife left me about 7 years ago. She’s late now. So, when these people rose against me, they brought a woman I once had an affair with.”
“They also brought Policemen to arrest me during our meeting. It was part of the few that supported me that spoke with the lady to convince her and change her mind. So, these people couldn’t achieve their aim,” he added.
The actor did not disclose the specific association involved but suggested that the incident was driven by internal disagreements and power struggles.
