Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide has taken to her official X handle to react after Aminu Tambuwal was spotted at the residence of former transportation minister, Rotimi Amaechi’s mother in Rivers State.
According to the statements which were shared on her official X account on Saturday July 18th, 2026 she pointed out that those present were proteges of former president Muhammadu Buhari.
Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers State and erstwhile transportation minister it can be recalled, lost his mother after a brief illness.
The burial in Port Harcourt, the state capital as expected, attracted several political heavyweights across different political affiliations from different parts of the country.
Lauretta Onochie, widely admired for her outspokenness, made it known that those present at the burial including Rotimi Amaechi, Aminu Tambuwal and others were all former president Muhammadu Buhari’s men.
