Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has stated that late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa was one of his close friends
In an interview with the Before Tomorrow Comes Podcast, Obasanjo said on one occasion he decided to visit Justice Oputa and was surprised to find him staying in the house of his son, Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy.
Obasanjo said he saw some messy things in Charly Boy’s house but he was totally impressed by the way Charly Boy cared for his father. Obasanjo said he became drawn to Charly Boy after seeing the love, attention, and care he showed to Justice Oputa.
