According to a report by Vanguard News, Veteran Nigerian entertainer and activist Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has shared a personal experience that shaped his decision to stay away from cocaine and other hard drugs. He revealed that his choice was strongly influenced by what he witnessed happen to a close friend who became addicted to the substance.
According to him, seeing the devastating effects of drug abuse on his friend’s life served as a wake-up call that made him take a firm stand early. He explained that the experience opened his eyes to the dangers of addiction and pushed him to focus on discipline, self-control, and a healthier lifestyle.
