Yoruba Nollywood actor, Ramon Omolaja, popularly known as Ayinde Ogo, has opened up about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s departure from their matrimonial home.
Speaking in an interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actor clarified that he did not drive his wife away, contrary to what some might believe. He explained that she made the decision to leave the marriage on her own accord.
Omolaja stated that his wife’s departure was directly linked to his financial difficulties at the time.
He admitted to facing significant challenges and being completely broke when the incident occurred.
According to him, his wife deliberately instigated trouble to create an opportunity to leave the marriage.
He expressed that while he cannot blame her for leaving due to his financial state, the manner in which it happened was what caused him pain.
The actor confessed to being heartbroken after she left, describing himself as a “lover boy.”
In the depths of his despair following her exit, Omolaja consumed poison in an attempt to end his life. He revealed that he was discovered by his friends from the gym, who had come to his house to charge their devices.
They found him in a critical state and immediately rushed him to the hospital for emergency treatment.
His words: “My wife left our marriage. I didn’t send her packing; she left on her own. She left because of what happened at that time, and I can’t blame her for that. It is just the way it happened that made me angry. At that time, I had some financial challenges and was broke. So, she intentionally caused some trouble to use the opportunity to leave our marriage.
